How to Delete Your Account
You can request the complete deletion of your FlowPrompter account and associated data using either of these two methods:
Method 1: In-App Deletion (Fastest)
- Open the FlowPrompter app on your device.
- Tap the Settings icon.
- Scroll down to the Account section and tap Sign Out / Delete Account.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to permanently remove your data.
Method 2: Email Request
- Send an email to support@flowprompter.dev from the email address associated with your account.
- Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request".
- Include your FlowPrompter login email in the body of the message.
What Data is Deleted?
Upon processing your request, the following data is permanently deleted from our cloud servers (Supabase):
- Your email address and unique User ID.
- Your encrypted password and authentication tokens.
- All cloud-synced teleprompter scripts and folders.
Retention Period: Manual email requests are processed and data is deleted within 30 days of receipt.
What Data is Kept?
We do not retain any of your personal content. However, please note:
- Local Videos: Video recordings ("Takes") are stored entirely on your local device's storage. We do not have access to them. To delete these, you must manually delete them from your phone's gallery or file manager.
- Financial Records: If you purchased a Pro subscription, transaction records are maintained by Google (Play Store) or Apple (App Store) and securely processed by RevenueCat for legally required tax and accounting purposes.
- Active Subscriptions: Please note that deleting your FlowPrompter account does not automatically cancel your recurring Pro subscription. You must cancel your subscription directly through your Apple App Store or Google Play Store settings to prevent future billing.
